The above, all grads of the Certified Network training program,
have joined forces to create the CNP of Ohio
Board of Action. The function of the board is to support to the
successful growth of the community and to give feedback about what
is good and what needs to be changed. The board currently monthly.
|
| The members have helped to fine tune how our community runs in these ways:
- They are in attendance at graduation celebrations to help guests
feel more welcomed and comfortable.
- They have taken a lead role in the graduation celebrations.
- They have suggested a better way to display our exhibit booth and
also classroom bulletin board.
- They have invited many guests to the mixers.
- They suggested that we allow for 10 second personal introductions
of everyone attending a graduation celebration.
- The room set up changed slightly at the suggestion of the group,
allowing for better traffic flow and more opportunity for
introductions to be made.
- They have suggested that our monthly lunch while normally limited
to grads and students, be opened once a year on our birthday month
to special guests.
- They have asked how our method of marketing to corporations
satisfies that market and have offered to help with that type of
marketing.
- They have reviewed our strategic plan and help to keep us
accountable to the plan. "What do you mean, you haven't started
that yet?"
- One member has taken on the championing of our Module 5 Graduate
Assistant Corp, helping new students to gain a better
understanding of the training of their referral partners.
- They have exhibited at our booth when we couldn't be there and
created strategies that will drive people to the booth..
- And so much more. We wouldn't be where we're at today, without them.
